Good health starts with good nutrition. Losing weight and eating well starts with breakfast. At our house, my guys are big cereal fans but I like to have other quick options available too. I also make a morning snack for my child care group so I’m always looking for unique, healthy options. Post cereals, including Raisin Bran and Grape-Nutes, are great for creating unique and heart healthy recipes. Find post cereals at Walgreens.

Grape Nuts Frozen Yogurt Bars

One of my favorite breakfasts includes fruit and yogurt with a little cereal on top. When I was at home, we made this recipe, once found on the Post Grape-Nuts cereal box. If it’s not the exact recipe from the late 80’s, it’s similar. Yum! You can use any fruit or fruit-flavored yogurt you like. I used plain non-fat yogurt with fresh blueberries. The Grape-Nuts cereal adds crunch and a nutty flavor.
