Puffy Paint Snowflakes

We had to give this flour paste paint a try!
Mix together:

  • 1 cup of flour
  • 3 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • food color (I used liquid watercolors)
  • water, enough for a thick paint consistency

I divided it into three containers before coloring it so we could have blue, green and pink. Put into squeeze bottles (ours are little sand crafting bottles). After painting design is complete, microwave about 1 minute.
I cut snowflake shapes out of cardstock with my Silhouette. I was afraid the cardstock would be too light and it would curl up under the weight of the paint but it didn’t! Very fun, we’ll do this again.
