We’ve had a beautiful November, but now it’s cold! Time to warm up with pumpkin spice hot cocoa. It’s a special drink you can whip up for guests or enjoy at home with your kids.

Pumpkin Spice Hot Cocoa

Here are the ingredients you need: milk, unsweetened cocoa powder, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, a little salt, and mini marshmallows.

This makes one serving so just adjust it if you’re making it for more. Heat the milk on low heat in a saucepan and let it come to a simmer. While the milk is getting warmed up, make a paste of the pumpkin puree, cocoa powder, maple syrup, salt and pumpkin pie spice in a measuring cup.

Pour the warmed up milk into the measuring cup, little at a time while stirring to mix.

Garnish with mini marshmallows and sprinkle a tiny pinch of pumpkin pie spice and serve.

Warm, rich, spiced pumpkin-flavored drink for fall and winter.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 tsp of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp of pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp of maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice + 1 tiny pinch for sprinkling on the marshmallows
  • A pinch of salt
  • Mini marshmallows for garnishing

Instructions
