Homemade Bubbles and Refill Station

With summer comes lots of fun outdoor play that wouldn’t be complete without bubbles! A bubble refill station is just a genius idea that I originally found on Come Together Kids.  I made Homemade Bubbles and Refill Station.
In the past,  I’ve use a bubble machine a lot because it’s less messy and little ones tend to dump bubbles or stick the wand in their mouth. It also gets kids moving around to chase the bubbles.  I’ve gone through a lot of bubble machines and batteries, though, and blowing bubbles are good for development.

I had to make a bubble label with my Silhouette and some vinyl.

We also tried a bubble recipe. I used to just buy bubbles so I didn’t have to mess with making some. It’s so easy though, and it has to cost less.
This recipe is called “The World’s Best Bubbles”.  We think they work great too.
The World’s Best Bubbles

  • 1 1/2 quarts of water
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup liquid dish soap

Mix water and corn syrup until completely blended. Heat in microwave 3-4 minutes. Slowly stir in soap. Will last several weeks in an airtight container.
