No worries, we didn’t use our real chicks for making chick prints!
We used this: 3 straws rubber banded together.
Top Left: “I’m going to make a pattern.” {Lines up prints.}
Top right: “That’s not a pattern. A pattern would be up, down, up down.” {Proceeds to make her prints, some turned upwards and some turned downwards.}
Bottom Left: This little guy spent a lot of time checking over the tool we created to make chicken feet prints.

This is a great idea. I am also a preschool teacher and I am always looking for new things to give the kids to paint with.

I love the straws! We have done similar prints with pipe cleaners, I would have never thought of straws this way! Thanks for linking up over at PreKandK Sharing We LOVE Paint linky party!
