Dr. Seuss One Fish Two Fish Jello Cups

March is coming! Prepare for all the fun that is Dr. Seuss with some fun snacks to go along with One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish by Dr. Seuss in honor of his birthday on March 2. Combining literacy and a treat makes for memorable learning! It’s important to me that I serve healthy meals and snacks but childhood is also a time for fun celebrations that include treats such as these Dr. Seuss One Fish Two Fish Jello Cups. Each cup is a small serving, perfect for a little treat to as you read the story.

Ingredients

  • 1—3oz. pkg. Lemon Gelatin
  • 1—3oz. pkg. Berry Blue Gelatin
  • 1 pkg. Swedish Fish, assorted colors
  • Small Clear Cups – 2 oz. portion cups 

Directions

Prepare the lemon and berry blue gelatin according to package directions.

Dr. Seuss One Fish Two Fish Jello Cups prepare the Jello

Pour each flavor into individual small clear cups.

Dr. Seuss One Fish Two Fish Jello Cups

Refrigerate until the gelatin is partially set, approximately an hour. Place one fish into each cup, about halfway in. Put back into the refrigerator for about another hour, or until firm.
