Yesterday we learned about waiters. Maybe this borders on a different position in the restaurant but it works! We washed the toy dishes combining dramatic play and sensory play. What a fun time! I really like it when I see the kids so focused on their play. They asked when we’re going to do it again. I usually avoid doing this in the house (we do water play outside all summer) but it wasn’t that bad. I put large towels down on the floor and filled the water table. On the little table there was a rinse bucket and towels for drying. I took some of the kids layers off if they had long sleeves and others needed to be changed afterwards. The area definitely got wet but it’s just water!

This is so fun! One day I was sitting with my niece at Bob Evans restaurant and she said - "When I grow up, I definitely going to work here!" When I asked her why she said, "Because they get all that money!" She was noticing the tips on the table:)

I love fun like this but it is a total pain to do inside... so much easier outside
