This is what I came up with for the Kleenex box challenge – a textile sensory box. There’s various types of {mostly} fabrics to engage the senses. Included: tulle, mesh, sequined fabric, linen, embroidered fabrics, silky pieces, felt, butterfly pattern, towel, bandana print, oriental patterns, foam, bubble wrap, and sandpaper. These are all pieces of fabric I had around the house. I would like to add a piece of lace & a furry piece. I expect my infants and toddlers especially will enjoy discovering this activity, pulling out fabrics and putting them back in the box. I can also see them being used in the doll house or with blocks. This was a fun challenge! **The actual box itself was covered in Contact Paper & decorated with shapes cut on the Silhouette.
