Vases for Mom {Mother’s Day}

v4
For Mother’s Day gifts this year I bought Dollar Store vases for the kids to decorate. I applied Modge Podge and the kids stuck on pieces of cardstock. Look familiar? Yes, it’s the leftover shredded paper from our egg projects!  I was going to do tissue paper but spotted this paper, already cut, and really nice colors for Mother’s Day.  After the kids stuck on cardstock, I covered over the paper pieces with another layer of Modge Podge. They look great and the kids are so pleased to give them to their moms.v6
These were very quick, simple projects.
v1
Some kids used a lot of paper strips and some used less. Both ways look great.
v2
We put the flower bookmarks into the vase, wrapped it in tissue paper and put it in a clear bag tied with a ribbon. All ready for Mother’s Day!
