How about these cute Bats for Halloween? They were inspired by this site: http://laclassedellamaestravalentina.blogspot.com/2011/10/secchiello-pipistrello-porta-dolcetti.html. The site is Italian and there are no directions or patterns, I just created my own based on the picture. We did not make them into baskets, just bat “hangers” that the children could hold onto and “fly”.
They turned out very cute and the boys enjoyed making them. As you can see, some did their own cutting.
