This post is especially for child care providers. Child Care Provider Appreciation Day is Friday, May 8th. It’s during Teacher Appreciation week and fittingly always the Friday before Mother’s Day. I created this printable for our local child care provider organization, but I want to share it for others too. This would be nice framed as a gift or laminated for display in a child care.
Providers deserve recognition for all their tireless efforts. Quality early education programs focus on developing the whole child and we have a large part in that. I like the idea of child care providers helping “grow the future” through all they do to connect, nurture, teach, give, inspire and influence the lives of children and families in a positive way.

As a result of quality care and education provided for children under 5 years, we see children discover, learn, grown, achieve, thrive and grown & shine throughout their lives!
Studies show the importance of early learning, especially the first 5 years, that the formation of cognitive and character skills provides the essential foundation for success in school, college, career, and life. It’s wonderful when children have the opportunity to experience quality care and then families show their appreciation for not just for the immediate, meeting of a child’s needs, but for the long term benefits they gain and we all benefit from.
Thank your child care provider! There’s more going on than what you see on the surface!
Here’s another printable I made last year. Print it and frame or make it into a card to create a special thank you for Child Care Provider Appreciation day. Just a little bit of appreciation goes a long ways!
