Finally I changed up some of my decor for winter. I have a few spots that change with the seasons and most of my decor is more seasonal than holiday related. I’ve had these vintage blue jars on my shelf for quite a while either with candy or nothing in them so for winter I added coarse salt – I used kosher salt since that’s what I had but you can also use Epson salt. Then I just added a little clipping of some pine branches.
I love the wintery look and it’s quick and inexpensive. I found these pine branches at a local nursery but some grocery stores also have them for sale now. Or if you have trees in your yard, you just need a little!
Add them to a tray or a shelf for simple winter decor. Really you can use any candle holder for this.
You could also add cranberries or a candle (without the pine branch).
