Winter Wonderland Snowflakes

Such a great start to December with Winter Wonderland Snowflakes! We haven’t seen any real snowflakes yet so the anticipation is exciting.

Popsicle Stick Snowflakes

Through making the popsicle stick hanging snowflakes, we explored the shape of snowflakes.

Winter Wonderland Snowflakes

We used blue, purple and silver glitter paint to paint the snowflakes. Then we sprinkled them with sparkly glitter.

I added pipecleaner loops so they can be hung up for ornaments or winter decorations.Winter Wonderland Snowflakes

Snowy Names

Each month we write our names on name tags and display them in our writing area. They can be used as a reference when someone wants to write names and I date and save them for portfolios. It’s amazing to see the progress over time! Making snowy names was a fun way to practice name writing and letter recognition for December.

Snowflake Cinnamon Tortillas

For snack, I made snowflake cinnamon tortillas. Simply cut tortillas like a snowflake, spray both with cooking spray, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and bake for a few minutes at 400°. Yum!
