Here in Wisconsin, we’re waiting for some snow before the holidays. Our first snow arrived last weekend but it’s nearly melted already. This weekend we’re supposed to get 6-10″. Let it snow! This morning it’s sunny and cold. It feels like the calm before the storm! Make Let it Snow Ornaments with your kids – they are super cute projects.
I found all the supplies for our Let it Snow Ornaments at Hobby Lobby. The ornaments are Celebrate It handmade Holidays plastic craft ornaments. The small vintage style of these ornaments caught my attention. I had to get them.
In the craft area, they also had the little snowball filler and foam “Let it Snow” stickers. Those craft items are labeled as “Make it Christmas”. Everything was 5o% off.

Directions:

Very simple and attractive! My preschoolers were so proud of their ornaments. The toddlers were enthralled with filling their ornaments. As soon as they had them filled, they dumped them out and refilled them! It was all about the process for them!
This craft fits in with our Winter in the Woods theme. I also like that it’s more winter focused than Christmas so it could be used as a decoration anywhere.
I was pleased these ornaments are plastic so I could use them with the kids. So cute! See the links below for more fillable plastic ornament crafts for kids.
