I rarely order dessert at a restaurant but one dessert I can’t resist is Olive Garden’s Lemon Cream cake. I usually have to take it home and save it for later but that’s okay with me! Olive Garden’s menu describes it as: Delicate white cake and lemon cream filling with a vanilla crumb topping.
The lemon flavor is very light. It’s not like lemon pudding. It’s more of a lemon flavored whipped cream and cream cheese mixture. Sooo good!
I’ve been looking for this recipe for Lemon Cream cake but most are not like the cake served at Olive Garden. When I saw this recipe on Confessions of a Cookbook Queen, I knew I had to make it and I was not disappointed!
The recipe makes a big, rich cake. It’s lovely and so much like Olive Garden’s. I will make it again and it will be one of my go-to desserts! Yum! [xyz-ihs snippet=”follow”] [xyz-ihs snippet=”Stacy”]
