This week is Teacher Appreciation week. Often child care providers / early childhood education teachers are included in this celebration, but just as often, they are not. We are teachers – we TEACH & CARE ! There is a special day coming to celebrate the special job that we do. The Friday before Mother’s Day is Provider Appreciation Day. Child Care Provider Appreciation Day is a special day to recognize child care providers, teachers and other educators of young children everywhere. Each year I like to make a printable poster celebrating the efforts of child care providers. I give it out to providers in our area at appreciation events as well as online. The poster prints 8 1/2″ x 11″. Print on cardstock and laminate it or frame it for your classroom.
