It’s been a lovely fall in Wisconsin. Our leaves just changed color and are quickly falling. Along with with the season change come the busy days of readying for holidays. Now is the time to plan those little details that will make your Thanksgiving celebration extra special.
Thanksgiving is a time when everyone wants to indulge but no one needs the extra calories. Especially all those that can come with beverages so this Sparkling Cranberry Pear beverage recipe is made with TEN™ soft drinks. They only have 10 calories per serving. This reduces unwanted calories and doesn’t give up flavor. This cranberry pear mocktail has a lovely cranberry color and that sweet, tart and crisp taste that’s perfect for fall. It’s absolutely adjustable depending on individual taste. Like more sweet? Add more pear and 7Up TEN®. Like more tart? Add a little more cranberry juice.
I bought everything I needed at Walmart. Save $1 on TWO (2) 2-Liter bottles of 7UP TEN®, A&W TEN®, Canada Dry TEN®, RC TEN®, Squirt TEN™, or Sunkist® TEN™. [10/15/2015 – 01/17/2016]
The recipe is super simple – because who has time for complicated? It contains just three ingredients and mixes together in less than 10 minutes. If you want to provide an alcoholic option for your guests, you could add champagne.
Sugared cranberries are a beautiful garnish (& surprisingly simple too!)
- 1 3/4 cup pear nectar, chilled
- 1 cup cranberry juice, chilled
- 3 cups 7UP TEN®, chilled
- optional: champagne
- Combine chilled pear nectar, cranberry juice, and 7UP TEN® in a pitcher. Mix to combine, divide among glasses. Adjust ingredients to taste. Drop in a few fresh or sugared cranberries for garnish.
