Last week, we worked on a delightful holiday activity: My Five Senses of Christmas Printable Booklet. This project is one of my favorite ways to explore the holiday season with little learners! With minimal prep, this booklet comes together quickly and makes for a wonderful keepsake.
If your group is old enough, they can cut out the shapes themselves if printed on colored paper. For younger children, like my group, I pre-cut the shapes to keep things moving smoothly. My boys were enthusiastic about creating their pages and couldn’t wait to share their work with their parents.

I discovered this idea years ago when my son brought home a similar booklet in kindergarten or 1st grade. Because I loved it so much that I created my version to share with my students. (I don’t know who the original creator was, but that cherished memory inspires this template.)
What is the My Five Senses of Christmas Printable Booklet?
This printable booklet helps children explore the magic of Christmas through their five senses. Each page is dedicated to a different sense, allowing kids to reflect on what they see, hear, touch, smell, and taste during the holiday season. It’s a simple yet engaging activity that fosters creativity and sensory awareness.
