I thought this idea was crazy smart! Love this idea from Momables to reuse Starbucks cup plugs to make safe snack kabobs for kids. I’ve used them to make “sandwich stackers” and fruit kabobs.

Kids love to help make meals and snacks! Allowing children to help in the kitchen makes eating an enjoyable experience. It also encourages picky eaters to give new foods a try. I’ll try just about anything to help children eat healthy foods! Make snack time fun by providing a variety of foods they can choose from and push onto their kabob sticks.
Make Safe Snack Kabobs for Kids
Kids love eating anything on a kabob stick and these are not only safe but inexpensive, recycled, and reusable. They do make small servings so some kids may need more than one for sandwiches or fruit to be considered a serving, but even kids can make their own.
Ideas for Snack Kababs:
- Ham and cheese cubes
- Marshmallows and fruit
- Bread, lettuce, meat and cheese
- Tomatoes and cheese
- Angel food cake and strawberries
- Grapes and cheese
- Blueberries and strawberries and other mixed fruit
- Peanut butter and jelly squares

They’re great for eating carrots too! Think outside the fork and spoon for creative fun eating experiences!
