One of my favorite Thanksgiving traditions is making handprint turkeys. The rhyme on the cutest Handprint Turkey in the Land is super cute! I originally found this one preschool-daze, one of my favorite preschool blogs!
You might think this is a turkey running over all the land, but really it’s just paint that was stuck on my hand! Happy ThanksgivingHANDPRINT TURKEY TEMPLATE | PDF
Directions:
- Print on cardstock.
- Layer cardstock onto colored paper if desired.
- Make child’s handprint with paint.
- Add beak, wattle, legs and eye with a Sharpie marker.
You can make the handprint on a separate piece of paper if you want, before committing it to the printed page, or just go for it and put the handprint right on the printable. I like to just use the printable page so there’s one less step of cutting it out and gluing it on.

If this isn’t the cutest handprint turkey ever! Parents and grandparents will cherish them.
