Paper plate traffic lights
What would we do in child care without paper plates? We can even use them to make paper plate traffic lights. Simply paint a paper plate (we used black paint). Cut in half. Glue each half onto a black paper rectangle, cut in proportion to the plate size. Add green, yellow and red circles for the lights. Attach a yarn loop to the top of the light if desired. Hang your light up for decoration or play a game with stop and go and slow words.
