“Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Treee…..” These adorable sparkly mini Christmas Trees make me want to sing! Our little trees moved on to their new homes with their little people, but I want to share them with you. I spotted the paper mache cones at a craft store – JoAnn’s, I believe. They were just begging to be decorated. And do I have some kiddos who are good at decorating!
Sparkly Mini Christmas Trees
Sparkly Mini Christmas Trees
Needed:
- paper mache cones
- wood star shapes
- multi-colored sequins
- Modge Podge
- green paint
- silver glitter paint
- mini presents
- hot glue
Directions:
- Mix green and silver glitter paint.
- Paint cone.
- Allow to dry.
- Cover with Modge Podge.
- Sprinkle with sequins.
- Paint star (if needed – mine were already silver)
- Hot glue star to top.
- Hot glue mini presents around the bottom.
If you want to skip a step, you can also mix some Modge Podge into the green glitter paint. I did that on one tree and it worked out well.
