Moving Water Sensory Play isn’t anything new, but it’s still really fun. Today we played with a variety of medicine syringes & droppers and small amounts of water.
Moving Water Sensory Play
Needed:
- small containers
- syringes -save from pharmacy or buy at a farm supply store
- water droppers
- small amount of water
- towel to cover table or paper towels
Directions:
Child uses a tool, either a syringe or water dropper, to move water from one container to another.
The 2 year old came along after a while and said “I try it”. For sure!

Thanks for dropping by Mama Pea Pod! This looks like great fun! I always keep the medicine syringes when the bottle is finished, and my daughter puts them in her doctor’s kit. I’m sure she’d love playing with them with some water. Great idea!
