DIY Wood Block Photo Ornaments

Want to make and give a wonderful gift with your child care children that parents will always treasure? You can’t go wrong with a photo gift! I love this idea, to make a wood block ornament. Wood Block Photo Ornaments

Needed:

Wood blocks
paint
scrapbook papers
Modge Podge
Vinyl lettering or stickers (handwritten writing with a marker would be fine too)
eye screws
yarn and ribbon

Directions:

Each child chose their paint color {mixed with silver glitter paint} and painted their block.
Then I printed their photos, rounded the corners, {same as used for the framed portraits} and Modge Podge-d them on.
I cut/rounded coordinating scrapbook colors & Modge Podge-d them on the sides.
Using my Silhouette, I cut silver vinyl with each child’s initial and “2011” & applied them to the sides.
Screwed in an eye screw to the top.
Decorated them with fun yarn & ribbon.
