As part of our Oceans of Summer Fun theme, we made a Handprint Crabs Preschool Craft. They turned out super cute!
Before creating handprint crabs we read Clumsy Crab. It’s always a favorite! I found this handprint project on Pinterest, originally from Daily Dose of Sugar Mama. Super easy, so fun! perfect summer craft
Such a cute project that goes along with the book you suggested!
Love the ease, simplicity and finished “product” while extending the work of the picture book illustrator.
Speaking of illustrators….. what a segway. LOL. In the last week I have won a national INDIE Award of Excellence for my picture book & I’m ecstatic. I will be hosting a linkie party at the end of the week for an autographed copy of my “Red, White and Blue” which would be the perfect resource for extension ideas, such as what you’ve created for Clumsy Crab, for the observation of the 10th anniversary of 9-11.
Thank you for allowing me to share my project w your regular readers.
